Who we are
The name Farnham & Company reflects something deliberate: this is a brokerage built on personal accountability, not institutional distance. When a manufacturer decides to sell a Swiss turning department, close a die cast operation, or exit a rubber and silicone processing facility, the person who answers that call is the same person who knows what the equipment is worth, knows who in the market needs it, and has a record of closing transactions on both sides of that equation. Machinery brokerage done poorly is just a listing service with a commission attached. Done well, it requires genuine market intelligence — the kind that comes from years of tracking what blow mold lines, thermoform equipment, extrusion systems, injection presses, grinding cells, CNC machining centers, stamping lines, EDM machinery, rotational mold assets, fabrication equipment, and tool and die inventories actually trade for, not what sellers wish they were worth or buyers hope to pay. Farnham & Company has built its practice around that distinction. We represent North American sellers and connect their assets to a global buyer network that includes active manufacturers, investors, and dealers. We do not fabricate recovery estimates to win listings, and we do not bury sellers in process when a direct purchase makes more sense. The mandate is straightforward: the right transaction structure, executed honestly, for every asset that comes across this desk.
